Dr. Edwin Peralta
Dr. Edwin Peralta has always desired to have a career that provides the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives, and a dental career was the right path. Dr. Peralta received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from California State University in Northridge and then attended the University of California in San Francisco, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. As a dentist, Dr. Peralta is excited to build meaningful relationships with patients and anticipate many future conversations, smiles, and shared laughter. He is grateful for discovering a career that he can be passionate about with the potential to contribute to the health and welfare of patients. Dr. Peralta loves learning about his patients and bringing smiles to their faces after treatment and exams. He enjoys building a professional relationship with his patients and creating that bond of trust. He finds his passion for dentistry meaningful, and it brings him joy every single day, knowing that he is making a difference in the community. Dr. Peralta looks forward to learning about the history of Odessa and interacting with the community to get his name out there and build a bond. Dr. Peralta comes from a Spanish-speaking family and is the youngest of three. He loves dogs, going to the gym, watching basketball and soccer, hiking trails, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Jaques Mezencio
Dr. Jaques Mezencio is a licensed orthodontist in Texas. For over 20 years, he has provided his patients with cutting-edge orthodontic care with wonderful results. He prides himself on providing his patients with individualized attention and a wide variety of orthodontic and orthopedic treatment options, including traditional braces, self-ligating braces, and aligners such as Invisalign®, as well as the use of skeletal anchorage devices (TADs). Dr. Mezencio graduated as a dental surgeon from the Dental School of UFMG Minas Gerais in Brazil and years later, he fulfilled his dream of graduating as an Orthodontic Specialist at APCD in São Paulo Brazil to provide quality specialized treatment. Throughout his career, he has treated thousands of patients, often treating entire family members, building deep relationships in his community. After moving with his family to Florida with new dreams to be fulfilled, in this year of 2024, Dr. Mezencio had the honor of fulfilling another of his dreams and receiving the title of specialist in Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics from the Georgia School of Orthodontics and now, the time has come for him to join our team at Bliss Dental. Dr. Mezencio believes that orthodontic treatment is much more than correcting misaligned teeth, but also adjusting the entire functioning of the mouth, facial muscles, bones and joints. In addition, in many cases, it restores the self-esteem and self-confidence of his patients. Dr. Mezencio loves cruising with family and friends because he considers it the best opportunity to relax and see several destinations in a single trip.
